Dough should be tight otherwise the roll shall not be firm. If the roll doesn't set in an hour of refrigeration, it can be further stored for a couple of hours.

Ingredients For Khajoor-e-Anjeera Delight Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Put the dried figs and dates in a grinder and grind them.
  • 2. Take the remaining nuts and cut them in big pieces.
  • 3. Mix all the the nut pieces with the grinded dates and figs paste to make a tight dough.
  • 4. Make a thick roll of the obtained dough and wrap this roll between two butter paper sheets.
  • 5. Refrigerate for one hour.
  • 6. Cut medium sized slices of the refrigerated roll.
