First wash the poha with water 2 to 3 times. Then put the poha in a sieve and keep it aside.

Heat oil in a pan on the gas, and fry the mustard seeds, and asafetida in the hot oil by reducing the flame to medium.

When mustard seeds and fennel begin to crackle, then add onion and green chillies to the pan and fry till the onions turn pink.

After this, add washed poha to the onion. Then add coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, sugar and lemon juice on it and mix the peas!

Stir well with a large spoon and mix all the ingredients. Now cover the pan with a plate and let the poha cook on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes. After that turn off the gas.

After a minute of turning off the gas, remove the plate from the pan, then take out the poha in the plate and put it on
