It is a very popular dish in India. Biriyani was introduced in India in the era of Mughal. It was one of the famous dishes in the kitchen of the Mughal Emperors......that's why it is called Mughlai Cuisine. Each region of India has its own way of making Biriyani...mainly Kashmir, Hyderabad, Malabar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Delhi, and Agra are the main centers of Biriyani.
