Ingredients For Labanga Latika Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Make a dough of flour, salt, a tsp ghee and required hot water.Make a soft dough,cover it and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • 2. For stuffing,heat 1tsp ghee, add mawa and milkmaid.Cook it till a soft & sticky mixture.
  • 3. Make sugar syrup of 1 cup sugar & 1 cup water.
  • 4. Now take a small portion from dough and roll it like round roti.
  • 5. Put one tsp mawa mixture in the centre and fold two sides overlapping each other.
  • 6. Overlap the remaining two sides also and seal it well using few drops of water.
  • 7. Put one clove in the middle of the wrap to make it tight.
  • 8. Deep fry the labang latika in ghee till it turns golden brown.Flame should be medium.
  • 9. Now make a thick sugar syrup of 1:1sugar and water.Dip the labang latika in syrup for 15 minutes.
  • 10. Then take out from syrup and serve it.
