Ingredients For Lauki Ka halwa Recipe

Methods
  • 1. 1. Pour milk in a wide pan or kadhai. Bring it to boil. Simmer until it reduces to half and thick
  • 2. 2. Wash and peel bottle gourd. Taste and make sure it's not bitter or too sour. Cut in two pieces, remove all seeds from it after that grate it.
  • 3. 3. Take a kadhai pour ghee in it. When ghee becomes hot, pour grated lauki in it and stirred and fry until the moisture dries up completely
  • 4. 4. Check out that milk becomes slightly thick while sauté
  • 5. 5. Whisk it well with fork to break up the cream regularly. Pour hot milk in it and whisk it well
  • 6. 6. Cook at medium flame untill mixture becomes thicker
  • 7. 7. Add sugar and whisk it well until halwa becomes thicker in nature
  • 8. 8. Sprinkle cardamom powder in it and whisk it well
  • 9. 9. Turnoff the flame and take halwa in a plate
  • 10. 10. Garnish with almonds, Cashews, pistachios and with raisins
  • 11. 11. Served hot or cold.
