Methods
  • 1. Take a bowl add all purpose flour,salt,carom seeds,onion seeds and 1/4 cup of oil and ,mix well.
  • 2. With the help of water make a stiff dough.
  • 3. Cover with muslin cloth and keep aside for 30 mins.
  • 4. Divide the dough into ball and roll out the thin chapati.
  • 5. Spread oil over the chapati and sprinkle some flour and fold the chapati from one side now similarly fold from other side
  • 6. Again grease some oil over the chapati and sprinkle some flour and fold the chapati from other side like lifafa.
  • 7. Now roll out the chapati and again grease the oil and sprinkle some flour and now again fold it and roll out.
  • 8. Now cut the layered nimki.
  • 9. Heat enough oil in a pan and deep fry the layered nimki in a medium flame until golden brown and crisp.
