Mix all spices together for balance chivda taste.Fry makai on medium flame till it becomes crispy.Mix spices in chivda while it is slightly hot.

Methods
  • 1. In a mixing bowl, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, fennel seeds powder, powder sugar, amchur powder, and salt. Mix well. Keep it aside.
  • 2. Heat oil for frying in a pan. When the oil is hot, simmer the heat to medium and fry the makai poha until crisp. Take out fried poha in a mixing bowl.
  • 3. Deep fry the peanuts in the same oil until browned and crisp. Drain out into the mixing bowl.
  • 4. Fry almonds, cashews, dried coconut and curry leaves separately and drain out into mixing bowl.
  • 5. Add spice mix with all fried ingredients and mix well.
  • 6. Cornflakes chivda is ready. Store it in an airtight container.
