Methods
  • 1. Soak moong dal in water for 2 hours. Drain the water from the lentils and put them in the mixer and grind them together with ginger and green chillies.
  • 2. Do not make the lentils finely, grind them only lightly. Add salt, coriander powder, red chili and garam masala to this paste.
  • 3. Sieve the flour and semolina and take it out in a vessel, add oil and lentil masala paste and mix it well. With the help of lukewarm water, knead the dough as hard as puri dough. Keep the kneaded dough covered for about half an hour. After half an hour, rub the flour with oiled hands and correct it.
  • 4. Put oil in a pan and heat it. Break the kneaded dough and prepare small balls equal to the size of a small lemon. Take one ball and place it on the wheel and roll it into a diameter of 3-4 inches.
  • 5. Put the rolled Bedmi Poori in the hot oil and fry it, turning it over and over, till it turns brown.Take out the fried Bedmi Poori from the pan and place it on a plate or dalia with a napkin paper.
  • 6. Roll out the second Bedmi Poori in the same way and put it in the oil and fry. Prepare all Bedmi Poori in the same way. Your Bedmi Puri is ready. Serve hot Bedmi Poori with Aloo Masala curry and eat it.
