Methods
  • 1. Boil water and add rice flour along with salt. Mix and stir well to make a thick dough. Rest the dough for 15 minutes.
  • 2. Knead the dough well to make it soft and smooth with a teaspoon of oilRoll the dough into some balls and roll each balls on a rolling pin to make a thick flat bread
  • 3. Cut shapes of your own.Make designs and patterns using a tooth pickMake sugar syrup by simply adding sugar to water and boil it for 10 minutes on a low flame
  • 4. Heat oil in a kadai. Deep fry the pithas till they turn golden brownSoak the fried pithas in sugar syrup for about 5 minutes.Take out of the syrup and enjoy the crispy and yummy nokshi pithas with your kids.
