Ingredients For Poha Ladoo Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Dry roast the poha on low flame for 10 minutes or until it turns crisp
  • 2. Cool it completely and make a fine powder without adding any water. Keep aside
  • 3. Now take one teaspoon ghee in a pan and roast the coconut powder on low flame till it turns golden brown
  • 4. Remove it in a plate.
  • 5. In the same pan add 1/4 teaspoon ghee and roast makhana and sesame seeds. Remove it in a plate as well
  • 6. Now grate the jaggery so that there are no lumps and it becomes a little powdery
  • 7. In a blender jar add 1 cup jaggery, coconut powder, makhana and sesame seeds
  • 8. Blend everything well without adding any water
  • 9. On low heat and half cup ghee to a pan and add chopped cashews and almonds. Roast them a little.
  • 10. Now to the same pan add half cup milk and cook everything until one boil.
  • 11. To this add the poha powder and jaggery coconut powder. Switch off the flame now.
  • 12. Now combine everything well till it becomes one homogenous mixture. No lumps should remain
  • 13. Now prepare ladoos when the mixture is warm. Do not let it cool down or it will not hold its shape.
