Ingredients For Rajgira granola Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a pan add the sugar and water. Put it on a medium heat and make a sugar syrup with one string consistency. Keep stirring in between.In a separate heavy bottomed pan pop the Rajgira seeds without any oil. It will become almost 2 cups.
  • 2. When the sugar syrup achieve the desired consistency add khoya and mix well so that there are no lumps.
  • 3. When the khoya and sugar syrup combines well add ghee. Mix till it becomes a homogeneous mixture.
  • 4. Now start adding Rajgira. Add it gradually in 4-5 batches. Mix well after adding one batch.
  • 5. Keep mixing till everything combines well and becomes grainy and sandy in texture.
  • 6. Switch off the stove but do not leave the rajgira. Add the chopped dry fruits and cardamon powder.
  • 7. Keep mixing for another five to seven minutes and then take it out on a plate to cool down.
  • 8. Bring it to room temperature but do not refrigerate.
  • 9. Store it in an airtight container. It will stay fresh for ten days.
