Ingredients For Rawa Dhokla Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a mixing bowl, take besan,suji, salt, sugar,and citric acid mix very well with water and make smooth batter (maintain proper consistency of batter like pakora batter)
  • 2. Rest it for 10-15 min. Meanwhile Grease plates or thalis using oil.
  • 3. Pour approx 2-3 cups water in steamer at bottom and heat it over medium flame for 5-6 minutes.
  • 4. After 15 minutes, mix the batter again if require add 1 tsp water. Just before steaming add baking soda mix nicely. Transfer the batter in greased plate.Placing the plates (filled with batter) in steamer.
  • 5. Steam the batter on medium flame for 20 minutes.(after 15 minutes check the dhokla)turn off the flame.
  • 6. Heat oil in a small pan. Add mustard seeds, once seeds crackle, add curry leaves, green chilies. SautĂ© for few seconds Mix nicely. turn off the heat. Pour this tempering over the dhokla.
