Do not soak sabudana in too much water. Ingredients For Sabudana Kheer Recipe

  • 1. Keep a pan on the gas and put two spoons of desi ghee in it, when it becomes hot, roast cashews, almonds, while stirring on low flame. After adding water, wash the sago and soak it in water. Let it stay for four hours.Keep the ingredients ready.Strain the sago in a sieve. Keep the water separate from the sieve.
  • 2. Put milk in a pan on low flame and let it heat up.Keep stirring slowly when the milk boils.Add sago and keep stirring it for some time with a ladle. Let it boil on low flame.Cook it till the milk becomes thick.
  • 3. When the sago swells, add sugar and mix.Keep running with a ladle.When the sugar dissolves, add cardamom.Dissolve the saffron strands in a spoonful of warm milk and put them in the pan and mix.
  • 4. Stir the mixture for some time and mix it well. Allow the saffron color to dissolve well.Turn off the flame.kismis, cashew nuts, addServe by adding chopped almonds, raisins on top.Serve hot or cold with food.
