Ingredients For Sabudana Kheer / Sago Kheer Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash sago in running water, soak in water for 4 hours. Remove excess water.
  • 2. In Kadhai heat clarified butter, for 1 minute fry almonds, cashewnuts and pistachios. Transfer it into a bowl/plate.
  • 3. Now in same remain clarified butter, fry soaked sago for 5minutes on low flame. Keep sauteing when frying.
  • 4. Add milk and bring it to boil, when its quantity done 750ml.
  • 5. Add sugar, saffron strands, cardamom powder abd fried dryfruits (chopped). Keep stirring and boiling.
  • 6. When you see all sago starts flating on top of milk and its become transparent and thick consistency, switch off the flame.
  • 7. Sabudana kheer is ready to serve. Serve it hot or first refrigerate it and then serve it chilled.
