Ingredients For Sabudana vada Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Rinse sabudana well until water turns clear. Soak it in 1/2 cup water overnight.
  • 2. Roast the peanuts and remove skin.Crush the roasted peanuts using mortar and pestle.remove the skin of boiled potatoes and mash it in a mixing bowl.
  • 3. The sabudana will be soft and can be crushed with fingers easily after soaking.Drain sabudana and take it in a mixing bowl along with mashed potatoes.
  • 4. Add crushed peanut, green chillies,coriander,lemon juice and salt to the sabudana and potato mixture.mix well.
  • 5. Divide the mixture into 10 equal parts, flatten them a bit and make them round shape.
  • 6. Heat oil on medium heat in a kadai or wok. Add vadas to the oil one by one, don't overcrowd the kadai. Maintain the oil temperature to medium heat.
  • 7. Fry vadas on medium heat until golden brown and crispy from both sides. Drain on paper towel.
  • 8. Serve it with coriander or coconut chutney if prepared for fasting.Orelse it tastes super yummy with tomato catch up also.I have served it with coconut chatney.
