This is a great vegetarian starter that is protein packed. You can make it into burger and make a sandwich for lunch boxes as well.

Ingredients For Soya pyaaz ke sheesh kebab Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Boil the potato
  • 2. peel and mash well.
  • 3. Soak the soya granules in hot water for 15-20 mins and then drain the water. If using Soy chunks
  • 4. soak them in water
  • 5. drain and pulse in the food processor
  • 6. In a pan heat the oil
  • 7. add jeera when the oil is hot. Sauté for a few seconds.
  • 8. Add the chopped onions and chilies and sauté on medium heat till brown.
  • 9. Add these onions to the soya mixture along with potatoes and rest of the ingredients.
  • 10. Make patties and shallow fry in a pan or make long rolls and shape lo a kabob on a skewer. Cook till crispy outside.
  • 11. Remember everything else is cooked so make sure you don't let the kabob dry out.
  • 12. Serve it with your choice of chutney
