Ingredients For Sukhadi Recipe

Methods
  • 1. First, prepare the tray, plate, or thali to set the sukhdi. Grease the tray (bottom and sides) well with a little bit of ghee.
  • 2. Take the ghee in a pan and turn the heat on low-medium. Once the ghee is melted and gets slightly hot, add wheat flour (atta).
  • 3. Firstly lumps will be formed .keep on stirring and breaking lumps constantly with spatula.after around 10 minutes flour will start to loosen up and become light and fluffy.
  • 4. Keep on stirring for another 8 to 10 minutes or till it becomes light golden brown. Ghee will be seperated. Swich off the flame and keep on stirring for another 1 minute.
  • 5. Now add jaggery and combine everything well. Pour it into the prepared plate and spread it evenly with the help of back side of katori.
  • 6. After 8 to 10 minutes cut into desired shape and garnish it with chopped almonds. Let it cool completely and then transfer it in to an airtight container.
