Methods
  • 1. Heat oil in a cooker. Add cumin seeds, bay, and black cardamom. Let it splutter for a while.
  • 2. Add onions and saute on medium flame till it turns golden brown.
  • 3. Add rice, tinda, salt and red chilli powder. Mix well.
  • 4. Add water and pressure cook for 2 whistles and switch off the flame. Let it stand for 5-7 minutes until steam escapes in a proper way.
  • 5. Tinde wale Chawal is ready to serve.
