Whole wheat flour bread (eggless) Recipe

Bread prepared with whole-wheat flour or chakki atta as a healthy alternative. traditionally bread are prepared with plain flour or maida but this homemade bread is prepared with wholemeal wheat. these wheat-based bread are ideal for breakfast and sandwich recipes but can also be served as butter toast.

Recipe Notes

Do not keep the breads in fridge. Yeast reacts with cold and fail it's activation.Your bread become dry and hard in fridgeI dnt hv rectangular bread baking tin so i used my round shape cake tin for bakingAfter baking, wait for 10-15 minutes before unmoulding the bread from tin

Methods
  • 1. Take flour,milk powder,yeast sugar and salt in a big bowl
  • 2. Mix well and add warm milk and make a soft dough. Not too soft nor tight.
  • 3. See the dough texture.
  • 4. Mix oil one by one spoon and bind dough with stretch and fold method on clean surface
  • 5. Cover and keep it in hot place for 1 hour now check It doubles in size.
  • 6. Punch it and stretch again for 2 min. with oil or butter.
  • 7. If it's sticky in your hand then use little flour for stretching but don't use too much flour.
  • 8. When the dough become smooth Fold it in bread loaf pan size and press a little.
  • 9. Brush some milk or oil on top and cover it again.
  • 10. Keep in warm place for 10 to 20 minutes to rise up nicely.
  • 11. Now brush lukewarm milk on top slowly
  • 12. Do not press it.Bake in pre heated cooker or oven for 35 to 40 min.
  • 13. Till upper should golden brown or dark brown.
  • 14. Take out and rub the butter on top nicely for soft texture.At this time it's hard so don't worry
  • 15. Cover the top with wet cotton cloth for 2 hours or cool completely.
  • 16. Remove it from mould then again cover it with cling wrap for more softness
  • 17. At least 5 to 6 hours or till night.See the softness of bread.
  • 18. Cut in thin slices with cake knife which is used too cut in slices
  • 19. Cover in any polyethene bag for use later
