Winter special Ghee and jaggery Almond Florentine bars is my personal favorite desserts for munching, it has crispy and chewy texture which makes it amazingly delicious and almonds makes it super healthy.

Recipe Notes

You can pistachios or mix nuts of your choice instead of almond flakes.

Ingredients For Winter special Ghee and jaggery Almond Florentine bars Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a bowl add flour and ghee and mix it till sandy texture then add salt and jaggery powder and mix it again.
  • 2. At last add milk slowly till it combines and dough forms.
  • 3. Line a 6 inch square baking mould or tray with butter paper and spread dough evenly on it.
  • 4. Bake it for 20 - 25min at 170.c till it become light yellow in colour.
  • 5. Take a pan add honey, jaggery powder, water, cream and give it a single boil.
  • 6. Then switch off flame and add ghee and mix till combines. Then add almond flakes and mix it slowly.
  • 7. Pour this mixture over baked dough sheet and spread evenly using offset pallate knife.
  • 8. Then bake it for 20 min at 170.c till it set and stop bubbling.
  • 9. Once baked cool it completely and cut into bar shape or any desired shape.
