Combine lentils, spinach, salt, turmeric, ginger, tomatoes, green chillies and some water in a cooker and boil for 2-3 whistles.

Take it off after boiling and put it in a bowl, then heat ghee in a tempering pan, add cumin, garlic, asafoetida, dry red chilli and fry it and mix it in the dal
