Ingredients For Protein Rich Breakfast-CholamethiDokla Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Soak cow peas ,Fenugreek seeds and black lentils in water for 3-4 hours.
  • 2. Grind cow peas ,fenugreek seeds and black lentils in fine paste.
  • 3. Add 1/2 tsp citric acid and mix well for 5 minutes. Batter will become fluffy. Ferment for 1 /2 hours.
  • 4. Now mix it again. Grease the ring mold with oil.
  • 5. Now add fenugreek leaves, chilly ginger paste and salt and mix well.
  • 6. Finally add Eno and mix well in one direction.
  • 7. Transfer the batter in ring molds or small bowls and steam for 15 minutes.
  • 8. Let it cool and scrap with knife.
  • 9. Serve with green coriander mint chutney and enjoy healthy breakfast with a glass of juice.
