This is one of my most favourite wholesome soup recipe. In Winters we have this very often and in fact its good to have right now in Covid_19 times of lockdown.

Recipe Notes

you can add tomatoes in this, since I am allergic to tomatoes I avoid it. I add Borccoli when I have it mostly don't.

Ingredients For Thukpa Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Add butter to the cooking pot and add the hot Chilli sauce (you can use home made or any branded one)
  • 2. Add cumin powder and Coriander powder stir a bit and then add onions.
  • 3. Once the onions are cooked for 2 minutes, add the garlic ,stir and cook well on medium flame.
  • 4. Add the chicken stock (or water/if you are a vegetarian) and let it come to boil.
  • 5. Add Carrots and beans and get it to boil.
  • 6. While the carrots and beans cook in the water/ saute the mushrooms in a pan.
  • 7. Add green capsicum yellow capsicum and red bell peppers.
  • 8. Add salt and check the taste and the soup is ready.
  • 9. Boil the spaghetti in a separate pan.
  • 10. I like to assemble and serve in individual bowls.
  • 11. To serve : Add the spaghetti in the soup bowl.
  • 12. Add the shredded Chicken and the soup on top.
  • 13. Finally garnish the soup bowl with ginger and coriander and squeeze half a lemon in the bowl and serve hot.
