Anjeer Barfi Recipe

Anjeer barfi is made of dried figs, dates and nuts, an easy guilt free sweet that is sugar free and can be prepared under 20 minutes. Anjeer Barfi is really simple to make and is healthier than most others, because there is no additional sugar in it! Some recipes call for mawa or milk powder to make an anjeer barfi which i have not used. And the most important ingredient I used Nova shudh ghee for making this anjeer barfi. Ingredients For Anjeer Barfi Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Transfer anjeer, dates and raisins in mixer grinder jar. Grind until it into fine and smooth. Transfer it into a plate and keep aside.
  • 2. Heat 1 tablespoons clarified butter in nonstick pan, fry almonds, cashewnuts, pistachios and melon seeds on low flame until it turn into light golden brown colour. Transfer it into a plate when it cool completely, chop the almonds, cashewnuts and pistachios.
  • 3. Now add 2 tablespoon clarified butter in same pan. Add anjeer, dates and raisins mixture in it (prepared earlier).
  • 4. Add fried dryfruits. Mix it really well, saute it for minute on low flame. Switch off the flame.
  • 5. Grease the barfi tin and fill the mixture in greased tin. Refrigerate it for 2 hours or let it set on room temperature.
  • 6. After 2 hours cut it into a square shape pieces. Anjeer Barfi is now ready to eat.
