In winter people used to eat roti, rotla, thepla or debra made of black pearl millet. In Gujarat people have it with baingan bharta which is full of green garlic, chilies and spring onion. Today I made this Bajra Rotlo (pearl millet) and served with baingan bharta,chilli,etc.....

  • 1. Take a flour in paraat, add salt and mix it well. Now knead a dough using little by little water and knead it till become smooth. Make a ball and apply water and roll it using fingers and palms and put gently on the hot earthen tawa...
  • 2. When its cooked on one side, flip it to another and roast it well. Finally, flip it and apply water on the surface. Automatically it will become like a ball and is cooked well.
  • 3. Transfer it in a plate. Now using knife or spatula open the upper layer and apply ghee on it.Cut into 4 pieces and serve it with baingan bharta, buttermilk, papad and salad.. Enjoy!!!
