Ingredients For Bengali chirer polau or sweet poha recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take poha and wash 2-3 times.Then soak for 5-7 minutes. Now take a pan and add 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil on medium flame .Now add peanut and sautĂ© for 1-2 minutes on medium flame. Now take it out of the pan and keep aside.
  • 2. Now add 1/2 tbsp ghee on medium flame.Now add chhena,pinch of salt,pinch of turmeric ,1/2 tbsp sugar and saute for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.Now take it out of the pan and set aside.
  • 3. Now add 1tbsp ghee on medium flame.Add green cardamom and raisins ,then sautĂ© for 1min .Now add soaked poha ,turmeric ,and salt according to taste.now fry for 3-4 minutes.now add fried chhena and peanut.Mix well. Now add sugar according to taste.Now sautĂ© for 5 minutes.
  • 4. Now sweet poha is ready .
