Ingredients For Boiled Catfish Nuggets in Hot Soup on Vegetable Bed Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Marinate fish for 20 minutes with 2 teaspoons egg white, cornflour 2 tablespoons, 1 tablespoon sesame oil and salt according to taste.
  • 2. To make hot soup first dry roast 2 dried red chillies and 1/2 teaspoon peppercorns. When flavour started coming out put it down, grind it and make powder.
  • 3. In a pan, add 1 tablespoon sesame oil; when hot add rounded ginger pieces and 1 tablespoon chopped garlic pieces; stir for 30 seconds on a medium flame.
  • 4. Add hot chilli sauce, schezwan chutney, fish sauce, dried red chilli powder and pepper powder slowly. Stir continuously.
  • 5. After stirring for 1 minute add vegetable stock and sugar.
  • 6. Cover it and boil on a medium flame.
  • 7. To make vegetable bed, in a separate pan add 1 tablespoon sesame oil. When hot, add capsicum cubes, carrots, spring onion white, taste wise salt, pepper powder; stir fry in high flame and prepare a bed with these vegetables in a serving bowl.
  • 8. Add marinated catfish nuggets in boiled soup and mix well. After mixing cover it and boil for 8-10 minutes in low medium flame.
  • 9. For garnishing, dry roast two dried red chillies, 1/2 tablespoon peppercorns and grind. After 8-10 minutes remove cover add these grinded powder, 1 teaspoon chopped garlic, green part of spring onion and 4 pieces of whole dried red chillies.
  • 10. Now put catfish nuggets in hot soup on vegetable bed and serve hot.
