Ingredients For Brownie Jar with Strawberry Ice-cream and Cranberry Compote Recipe

Methods
  • 1. To make a brownie, take a bowl and mix all the dry ingredients. Shift the mixture and keep aside.
  • 2. Now take a bowl add chocolate and butter together and melt it , meanwhile grease the baking tin with butter paper.
  • 3. Now add ½ cup sugar, vanilla essence, whisk yogurt and ½ cup milk together and mix it very well.
  • 4. Now add flour mixture in it and mix until a consistency of a batter is a little thicker than cake batter is formed , pour this mixture into a greased tin , tap it 2 to 3 times and then bake it in a preheated oven for about 25 to 30 min at 180°C.
  • 5. To make strawberry ice-cream, first chop the strawberries. Then whip 1 cup milk, heavy cream, chopped strawberries and ½ cup sugar in a blender until it becomes smooth.
  • 6. Pour it into a lidded box and keep it refrigerated for some hours to set it properly.
  • 7. To make the cranberry compote, take a deep bottom pan, add dried cranberries and water. Cook it on low flame for a few minutes.
  • 8. Add 1 cup sugar and lemon juice. Cover it and simmer for 10 mins. Allow it to cool and then blend. Homemade cranberry compote is ready.
  • 9. Now take a jar and assemble all these. First put a layer of brownie at the bottom. Then add cranberry compote over it and then top it with strawberry ice-cream.
  • 10. Repeat this process until you reach the top of the jar. Again put brownie at the topmost layer and garnish with cranberries.
  • 11. Ready for serving. Enjoy this unique Christmas desert.
