Wash and soak black gram in water for 3 - 4 hours and boil in pressure cooker with two cup of water.

Once cooled open the lid and make a paste of black gram and reserve the water. Heat clarified butter in a pan and add cumin seeds to crackle. Add ginger garlic and saute for few minutes

Add black gram paste and saute for few minutes. Now add boiled black gram water and bring to boil. Once boiled cook for slow flame for ten minutes.
