Its an creamy dessert which has a combination of dark chocolate mousse, a layer of chocolate sponge, crispy chocolate planks, served with chilled orange garnita in chocolate cup.

Ingredients For Chocolate Mille feuille Recipe

Methods
  • 1. For chocolate mousse
  • 2. Heat milk till one boil and pour over chocolate and mix till chocolate melts completely.
  • 3. In another bowl whip cream with sugar till soft medium peaks.
  • 4. Then fold in cream to chocolate mixture gently and keep in chiller for 15 minutes.
  • 5. Chocolate sponge
  • 6. Mix sugar and oil together till light and fluffy then add milk and mix, then fold in flour, cocoa powder and mix till smooth batter form.
  • 7. Grease baking tray with oil and then pour batter and bake it for 8-10 minutes @180.c
  • 8. For orange Granita
  • 9. Heat orange puree till 45.c and then add sugar and mix till sugar dissolves.
  • 10. Then cool it down and keep in freezer till semi freeze and then with fork mix it in every 30 minutes for 3 time until it become like shredded ice texture.
  • 11. For chocolate planks
  • 12. Melt chocolate and spread it in parchment paper thinly using offset knife and then when it become semi set cut into 10*3 planks. We need 3 planks of same size.
  • 13. For chocolate cup
  • 14. Melt chocolate and take small baloon and coat it in melted chocolate from bottom and let it set then unmould it.
  • 15. For assembly
  • 16. In a plate first place thin layer of cake sponge 10*3 dimension then place chocolate plank on it and then pipe chocolate mousse on top of it and then again place another chocolate plank and then pipe chocolate mousse on it and then at last place last plank and pipe last layer of mousse.
  • 17. On side of it place chocolate cup and fill it with chilled granita just before serving and then garnish with edible flower.
