Methods
  • 1. 1. Take a utensil and then add 1 1/2 cup of gram flour, 1/2 tsp of salt,1/2 tsp of sugar , 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder and mix it well
  • 2. 2. Gradually pour water get a nice thick and creamy batter and then mix it again with water to make a batter
  • 3. 3. Let the batter sit for about 10 minutes and till then grease the cake tin with some oil
  • 4. 4. After 10 minutes add 5 grams of ENO salt to the batter
  • 5. 5. Pour the batter into the greased tin and spread it evenly
  • 6. 6. Take a pot add a little water and let it boil
  • 7. 7. After the water is boiled place the tin into the pot and close and steam cook on medium low flame for 20 minutes
  • 8. 8. Remove the tin and let it cool
  • 9. 9. Take a pan and add 1 tsp of oil , 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds ,five green chillies,few cury leaves , add 1/2 cup water , 1/2 tsp of salt , 2 tsp of sugar
  • 10. 10. Mix the solution well and then add few chopped coriander leaves and then squeeze the juice of 1/2 lemon and then keep the solution aside
  • 11. 11. Now remove the dhokla from the tin by gently tapping it
  • 12. 12. Grease the knife and cut the dhokla into pieces
  • 13. 13. Then pour the sugar and water solution on the dhokla and let it rest for 10 mins
  • 14. 14. Garnish it with some chopped corriander leaves.
