Methods
  • 1. Boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker by adding water and half a teaspoon of salt. Do not cook them much.
  • 2. When the potatoes are boiled, peel them and pierce them with the help of a fork.
  • 3. Take a mixer jar, add onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste, green chili and cashew to it and make a fine paste.
  • 4. Put 4 to 5 spoons of oil in the pan. Add red chili and turmeric powder. Add potatoes and fry them. Take it out in a plate and keep it.
  • 5. Now put cumin in the same pan, when it turns brown then add ground onion masala, cinnamon powder, cardamom powder and a clove. Roast it while stirring continuously.
  • 6. When the masala starts leaving the oil, add turmeric powder, salt, red chili powder and garam masala and mix it well. Now add curd to it and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • 7. Add water as required and let it come to a boil. Now put potatoes in it.
  • 8. Cover the pan and cook for another 10-15 minutes. Add kasoori Methi and switch off the gas.
  • 9. Take out in a plate and serve with naan/chapati.
