Gaajar Ka halwa as well as kaala jamun is a v famous Indian sweet. Every Indian family loves to have this sweets. When cooked in desi ghee it's taste gets enhanced.Here have tried something new by combining both the sweets, by using Nova shudh ghee n the result turned to be awesome, as the taste of Nova ghee is too good.

Ingredients For Gajar halwa nuts and kala jaamun truffle Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Cut the carrots into small pieces n add the milk.
  • 2. Let the carrots boil into the milk, let it get soft n dense
  • 3. Now cool the carrot mixture n mash it well with the masher
  • 4. Now heat heavy bottom Kadai n add almost 100gms of Nova ghee
  • 5. Add the carrot mixture n let it cook on a slow flame, add almost 150gm of sugar into it
  • 6. Cook on a slow flame, till the halwa leaves the Kadai.
  • 7. Finally add elachi powder.Gaajar halwa is ready
  • 8. To make kaala jamun, mix milk powder n maida n half teaspoon of Nova ghee.
  • 9. Now add baking soda n make soft dough. Make small round balls.
  • 10. Heat almost 150gm of Nova ghee n fry the balls on slow flame
  • 11. While take 150gm of sugar n double the water.
  • 12. Make sugar Syrup. Fry the balls to blackish colour.
  • 13. Put the balls into sugar Syrup. Kaala jaamun is ready
  • 14. Now it's time to assemble.
  • 15. Take a bowl put the gaajar halwa, then add a layer of dry nuts n then add the kaala jaamun.
  • 16. Serve the truffle hot, combination of both the sweets along with nuts tastes awesome.
  • 17. Nova shudh ghee enhances the taste of the truffle.
