Take a kadhai or a pan heat 1 cup of ghee and add 1 kg carrot/gajar.

Cook grated carrot/gajar for about 3-4 minutes until the raw smell goes and carrot/gajar change its colour little bit.

Now add 750 ml of whole milk and cook for another 10-15 minutes stir continuously and simmer on high heat and cook until carrot/gajar turns soft and milk has reduced to 80%.

Now add 250 gm of sugar mix well and cook until sugar, dissolves completely and ghee separates from the pan.

Add 250 gm Mawa, 1 tsp of cardamom powder and chopped nuts. Mix them well and cook for another 1 minutes.
7.
Yours delicious Gajar Ka Halwa is ready to serve. Serve hot, warm or cold.
