Ingredients For Gatte Ki Sabji Recipe

Methods
  • 1. First of all sieve the gram flour. Now put all the ingredients for making gatte in a mixing bowl. Knead a soft dough by adding curd little by little. Let the dough set for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • 2. Make thin long balls of the dough. Put two glasses of water in a vessel. Let the water boil well. Put the rolls in it and cook on medium flame for 10-12 minutes, turn off the gas and take it out from the water. Now cut them into small pieces.
  • 3. Put oil in a pan and heat it. Add cumin and asafetida to it. When cumin turns brown, add onion masala. Fry it on low medium flame till the onions turn light brown.
  • 4. Add tomato paste and fry it while stirring it well. Add all the dry spices to it. Add the whipped curd and mix it well.
  • 5. When the masala starts leaving the oil, then put the gatte in it. Mix it well with spices, add water according to the thick gravy you want to keep.
  • 6. Cover with a lid and cook it for 5 to 6 minutes on medium flame. When the gravy becomes a little thick, then turn off the gas.
  • 7. Transfer it in a plate and garnish with green coriander.
