How to make Half moon shapped kaju stuffed dryfruit barfi recipe

For filling Roast chopped almonds, pistachio ,kaju. Now add honey in these roasted , cool chopped dry fruits, mix well, stuffed is ready.

Making burfim heat a pan, add water and sugar and let it boil till you get a two thread consistency. Once you get a two thread consistency of the sugar, turn off the flame

Add soaked saffron, now the powdered oats and cashew nuts, rose essence and nestle milkmaid . Stir well vigorously in the sugar mixture till you get the dough like consistency.

Grease your hands and the rolling pin to help in easier rolling. Place the dough on a sheet of wax/ butter paper and roll out the kaju burfi/ katli to the desired thickness.

Cut the rolled out kaju burfi into circles with the cookie cutter or into your desired shape.
6.
While it's still warm, gently shape each circle in to half moon. Spoon in some of the filling and shape it well.
7.
Color green some fine chopped kaju and decorate it on half moon kaju burfi.
