Methods
  • 1. Put sugar and equal amount of water in a vessel and keep it for boiling . We have to make syrup of half string, in boiling syrup add yellow food color and saffron and when the syrup cools down a bit, then mix cardamom powder and rose water in it, our sugar syrup is ready.
  • 2. To prepare the jalebi batter, keep the powder of urad dal soaked in advance, take all purpose flour in a bowl add 1 tsp of ghee and soaked urad dal powder and add water. Mixing well, batter should not be too thin or thick.
  • 3. Now add one packet eno powder to it and mix it well.Now fill the batter in any cone or sauce bottle. Make a small cut from the bottom of the cone.
  • 4. Put a pan on the gas and put equal quantity of ghee and oil in it and heat it on medium high, then after that pour the jalebi solution filled in the cone, slowly rotating it in a circular motion, make jalebis. Fry the jalebis till they become crispy.
  • 5. Immediately put it in a light hot syrup, let the jalebis remain submerged in the syrup for 30 seconds, after which take it out from the syrup and keep the jalebi in a plate.
