Ingredients For Jowar Ambali Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a small bowl take, jowar flour and water. Mix them well.
  • 2. Dry roast cumin seeds in a tempering pan and crush it into a fine powder.
  • 3. Take 300 ml of water in a sauce pot and add salt, chilli paste and ginger paste and stir well and boil it on medium flame.
  • 4. Add the prepared jowar paste.
  • 5. Keep stirring while boiling on medium flame. Add the prepared cumin powder and boil for 3 to 4 minutes on medium flame.
  • 6. Remove it from the flame and add buttermilk, coriander leaves, chopped onion, carrot and mix.
  • 7. Jowar ambali is ready. Serve it with a light garnishing of coriander leaves.
