Ingredients For Kadala curry Recipe

Methods
  • 1. First soak black Chana with water overnight. After, strain the water, add fresh water in it. Boil it in pressure cooker in high flame in 4 whistles. Then switch off the flame. Keep aside.
  • 2. After take the pan, heat it in medium flame, add redchillies, coriander seeds, dryroast it. Then switch off the flame. After cooling,take it in jar, grind it becomes fine powder. Masala ready. Keep aside.
  • 3. After, take the pan,heat it in medium flame, add garam masala spices, dry roast it. Then switch off the flame. Keep aside. Let's cool it. Then take it in jar and grind it becomes fine powder. Garam masala powder ready. Keep aside.
  • 4. After take the pan, heat it in medium flame, add oil, onions, tomatoes, ginger, garlic cloves, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom pods, turmeric, salt, redchilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, water 1 cup, mix it well. Cook 5 minutes. Then switch off the flame.
  • 5. After cooling, take it in a jar, grind it becomes paste. Keep aside. Onion tomato paste ready.
  • 6. After take the pan, heat it in medium flame, add oil, onions, green chillies, redchillies 2, onion tomato paste, boiled black Chana, sufficient water, mix it well. Close the lid. Cook 15 minutes. Then switch off the flame. Serve it with Idiyappam. So tasty. Enjoy.
