Ingredients For Maddur vade recipe

Methods
  • 1. Mix in a bowl onion, green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, ginger & salt.Mix well and keep covered for an hour.
  • 2. Powder together groundnuts and poppy seeds. In a bowl, combine together all flours. Add oil and ghee, mix well.
  • 3. Add onion mixture, mix well by rubbing well. Keep aside half of this flour mix.
  • 4. To the remaining, add little water and start kneading. Knead well till all dough comes together.
  • 5. Add little of reserved flour mix.Knead by rubbing well until all flour comes together as a dough.
  • 6. Continue the process till all of flour is added and a stiff dough is made.Use extra water only if required.
  • 7. Divide this into 15 small portions.Roll each into a disc.
  • 8. Deep fry in hot oil till golden and crisp on low flame
