Combine the corn flour/curd and 1 cup of warm water in a deep bowl and mix well.

Cover it with a lid and keep it aside for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, grind the sweet corn coarsely in a grinder.

Now add crushed sweet corn, ginger-green chili paste, asafoetida, turmeric powder, sugar, lemon juice, salt and oil to the maize batter and mix well.

Just before steaming, add eno to the batter and mix. Batter will rise quickly.

Pour the batter into a greased vessel (in which Dhokla is made).Steam in a steamer for 15 minutes or till the dhokla is cooked.

Check with a knife or toothpick, if it comes out clean, it's done. Keep aside to cool dawn.

When cool, cut it into desired size pieces and keep aside.

for the tempering Heat oil in a small non-stick pan and add mustard seeds.
