Mango Makhana Kheer Recipe

Mango is everyone's favourite fruit. I freeze the mango chunks into freezer to use it of season. Mango flavour is incorpprated into rich makhana kheer and a yummy Indian dessert is prepared. Serve it immediately or chill it and serve, it yastes equally good. The method is simple and I am sure you will love it.

Ingredients For Mango Makhana Kheer Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Dry roast the makhana on low flame till it becomes crispy.
  • 2. Take half of the roasted makhana to a blender jar and coarsly grind it.
  • 3. Boil the milk in a pan. Bring it to boil till it reduces the half.
  • 4. Add sugar and dissolve it well.
  • 5. Now add crushed makhana powder, whole makhana and dry fruits and mix well.
  • 6. Keep stirring till it gets cooked well
  • 7. Lastly add safron milk and mix well.
  • 8. Switch off the flame and let it come to room temperature.
  • 9. Now add mango pulp and mango puree and mix well.
  • 10. Top it with some dry fruits of your choice and serve.
