Kofta is a traditional North Indian recipe which can make from either meat, chicken or veggies. It's a fried ball recipe cooked in spicy gravy. Today I have made matar kofta in buttery green gravy.

Ingredients For Matar Kofta In Green Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Boil peas, potato and capsicum in a pan with adding some water and salt.
  • 2. Let it cool and add bread crumbs and roasted gram flour.
  • 3. Mix well and make balls from mixture.
  • 4. Fry balls in appe pan till crisp.
  • 5. Make a paste from coriander leaves, green chillies and fenugreek leaves.
  • 6. Heat butter in a wok and put cumin seeds, cloves and cinnamon.
  • 7. Add onion and garlic paste.
  • 8. Now add turmeric powder, chilli powder and garam masala powder and sauté till oil starts separate.
  • 9. Now add green paste, water and cook covered for 5 minutes.
  • 10. Add kasoori methi and cream.
  • 11. Transfer the gravy in serving bowl, drop matar kofta in gravy and garnish with cream.
