Ingredients

Ingredients For Matar Mawa puff pastry Recipe

Methods
  • 1. ForDough, Take white flour(maida)in a bowl ,add ajwain and salt then add 4tsp of Nova ghee for shortening. Add required water and knead dough. cover amd keep aside amd rest.
  • 2. For stuffing, Heat 1tsp of nova ghee in a pan, add cumin.
  • 3. Now Add chopped onion , cook till translucent. Now Add Dry spices like red chilli,turmeric, coriander powder and salt to taste. add littlw water and cook masala.
  • 4. Now add boiled amd mashed pea and potato into the masala.
  • 5. Add coriander leaves . cook pea masala till dry and comes together.
  • 6. Switched off gas then add Grated mawa.let the stuffing cool down
  • 7. Preapare slurry of cornflour and Nova ghee ( Add 4to 5 tbsp) .Make 5 to 6 roti size equal round chapati. Take one chapato, apply 1tbsp of slurry all over the roti amd sprinkle dry flour. Cover with another chapati , apply slurry and sprinkle dry flour and follow same till all pile of chapati done
  • 8. On the last chapati , follow same process then round tighly in pinwheel shape. Cut into equal size (5 to 6) pieces . flatten then again roll out .
  • 9. In round chapati add filling and fold in square or any shape you like
  • 10. Seal the sidea with water or slurry .Fry in nova gheeon medium heat till criapy
  • 11. Serve with ketchup and enjoy with family & friends
