Nankhatai Recipe

Nankhatai are Indian shortbread cookies or biscuits. Basically it is popular as a tea time cookie and is easily available in most bakery shops in India. You can also serve these nankhatai to your guests in get together or in small occasions.

Ingredients For Nankhatai Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take a bowl.
  • 2. Add all purpose flour, gram flour, baking powder, cardamom powder and semolina and mix it well.
  • 3. Take another bowl and add ghee into it.
  • 4. Add sugar and whisk it using hand whisker until colour changes.
  • 5. Add flour into it and knead it.
  • 6. Now pre heat the microwave for 10 minutes on 180 degree Celsius.
  • 7. Now take a small part of dough and make ball from it and little press it down.
  • 8. Place almonds on it.
  • 9. Take a baking tray and place baking paper on it and place all the nankhatai on it by maintaining the distance.
  • 10. Now bake it for 10-15 minutes on pre heated oven on 180 degree Celsius.
  • 11. After that remove it and put it in rack and let it cool down.
  • 12. Serve it.
