Methods
  • 1. Grind oats in a mixer.
  • 2. Wash and soak udad dal for 4-5 hours. Grind it.
  • 3. In a mixing bowl, add oats and udad dal paste. Make a smooth batter nit runny.
  • 4. Mix very properly. Add salt. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  • 5. Fry all the vadas on low to medium heat till they turn slight brown.
  • 6. Transfer all the vadas in water. Squeeze excess water after 7-10 minutes.
  • 7. In a bowl, whisk curd properly. Add salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, sugar. Mix well.
  • 8. In a serving plate, place vadas. Spread curd. Garnish with coriander leaves, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder and tamarind chutney.
