PANEER LABABDAAR RECIPE

This is a favourite dish of my family. Unique taste , very very flavorful and creamy . Aroma of whole spices makes it different from other paneer curries.

Recipe Notes

Always take fresh paneer . If you like little sweet taste , add 1/2 tsp sugar in it.

Ingredients For PANEER LABABDAAR RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. Take 100 gm paneer . Grate it. Cut the pieces of rest of the paneer.
  • 2. Take a wok heat 2 tbsp oil in it. Add cardamom, magaz and cashew. Fry it on low medium flame. Add chopped onion in it. Cook it for 3-4 minutes.
  • 3. Now add chopped tomatoes. Mix it . Cover the wok with lid.
  • 4. Cook tomatoes for 3-4 minutes till it becomes softened. Turn of the flame.
  • 5. Let it cool. Grind it to make fine paste.
  • 6. Heat 1 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp butter in same wok.
  • 7. Add cloves, cinnamon and bay leaves. Roast it for few seconds. Add turmeric powder, salt , red chilli powder and Garam masala. Roast it on low heat. Add 1-2 tsp water.
  • 8. Now add onion paste in it . Cook it for 3-4 minutes. Add kasuri methi and grated paneer in it.
  • 9. Mix it well. Add paneer pieces . Cook for minute.
  • 10. Turn of the flame. Transfer it in a serving plate. Garnish it with grated paneer.
  • 11. Tasty paneer lababdaar is ready . Serve it with naan / paratha.
