Ingredients For Potali veg Briyani Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Boil 90 percent basmati rice with salt
  • 2. Keep the rice aside. Now heat Kadai n add nova ghee
  • 3. Add the diced vegetables into the ghee, fry them for a while.keep them side once fried
  • 4. Now add some more ghee to the Kadai n let it heat.
  • 5. Add onion, ginger garlic paste. Fry n cook for some time.
  • 6. Mix dry madal(Briyani,red chilli, turmeric n chat masala) into tomato puree
  • 7. Add this mix to onion paste. Then add cashew paste, curd n finally salt.
  • 8. Cook for a while n then add fried vegetables.
  • 9. Now in a bowl mix the cooked vegetables n basmati rice.Put kesar milk into it n half tablespoon of ghee.
  • 10. Now mix maida, salt n half teaspoon of ghee to make soft dough.
  • 11. Once the dough is ready, make a flat roti n put the Briyani mix into it.
  • 12. Give the shape of potali, by stuffing it.
  • 13. Brush this potali with ghee n put in to Kadai.
  • 14. Cover the Kadai n cook for 5 mins on a slow flame.
  • 15. Potali briyani is ready, serve it with raita
  • 16. Just cut the potali n enjoy the Briyani
