This is a traditional and popular Gujarati curry recipe made with potatoes in tamarind and jaggery based gravy. In Gujarati it is known as ' rasawala bataka nu Shak ' Bataka means potato and Shak means curry. It can be served with puri, thepla, roti or even Khichdi.
