Ingredients For RASAM RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. Soak tamarind in hot water for 30 minutes.
  • 2. Now squeeze the tamarind and reserve the water.
  • 3. Wash and chop the tomato.
  • 4. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped tomato and cook until soft.
  • 5. Add curry leaves,coriander leaves and turmeric powder and mix well.
  • 6. Add tamarind water and bring to boil.
  • 7. Once boiled add salt, sugar and rasam powder and mix well.
  • 8. Heat one tsp clarified butter in a pan.
  • 9. Add black mustard seeds,cumin seeds and whole red chilly and temper the rasam.
